Meet us at the field Monday July 22, 2024 to kick off the season! Participant forms must be presented to the Coach or Team Administrator for inclusion in the team book. Team books must be presented for compliance verification prior to participation in any American Youth Football, Inc., American Youth Cheer dba, Regional, National sanctioned event.

When does the season start?

Season starts Monday July 22, 2024. Dorchester Elite Eagles practices run daily Monday - Friday (6pm - 8pm)* until Boston Public Schools return September 9, 2024. AYF Games begin as early as Labor Day Weekend August 31, 2024 & September 1. 6U - 8U* Games are played on Saturday’s and 8U* - 14U Games are played on Sunday’s. Check in with your child’s coach for the upcoming season division schedule.

How do I sign my child up for the Dorchester Elite Eagles?

All rostered Participants must complete the following paperwork in order to be allowed to participate in any American Youth Football, Inc., American Youth Cheer dba, Regional, National sanctioned event. *ALL ITEMS MUST BE TURNED IN TOGETHER

  1. Payment: $200 by May 18, 2024 • $200+ after July 22, 2024 (Cash or Money Order)

  2. Image Release - MINOR

  3. Waiver and Release of Liability - MINOR

  4. Emergency Medical Treatment, Consent and Information Form

  5. 1Medical Clearance Form

  6. 2Resume Participation Medical Clearance Form

  7. Official Participation Tracking and ID Card & Proof of Age

  8. Absentee Form (as applicable)

All rostered Participants must receive Medical Clearance in order to be allowed to participate in any American Youth Football, Inc., American Youth Cheer dba, Regional, National sanctioned event. Please use the following form if you have not already supplied an acceptable medical clearance to your team.

  • 1Medical Clearance Form. Participant Medical Clearance will become void in the event of an Injury, Accident, or Illness attended to by a licensed medical professional. The Resume Participation Medical Clearance must be signed by the attending medical professional in order for the participant to resume active participation. The signed form must be presented to the American Youth Football, Inc., American Youth Cheer dba, Regional, National event official.

  • 2Resume Participation Medical Clearance Form. Some form of Participant Photo Identification system must be employed by your Association. If none was used the following forms can be substituted, and is preferred for the American Youth Football, Inc., American Youth Cheer dba, Regional, National sanctioned events.

What is Conference All-Star Division?

Conference All-Star teams are for those kids who will be graduating from AYF and entering their high school programs (8th Graders), have maintained a high standard of academic performance, and would like to have the opportunity to experience participating in an out-of-state Championship Tournament.

The Conference All Star division gives those players in their last year of AYF (those 8th graders on teams did not qualify for a place at National Championship) a chance to compete on a national stage and create AYF memories to last a lifetime. This division also gives city-and-state assembled teams a chance to represent their conference in the national football community.

Each AYF National Conference has the opportunity to create a Conference All-Star team made up of players selected in the post season. Members should inquire with their Conference Commissioner for more details.The selection process is determined by the conference exclusively. To submit a team from play in the National Championships Conference All-Star Division, contact the AYF National Office.

How does a team qualify for the National Championship?

The American Youth Football National Championships features the largest youth football tournament in the world. Over 150 football teams, travel from throughout the USA to Kissimmee, Florida, home to Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios, to participate in age protected, all-star, and instructional divisions to compete for the title of national champion. Each team is guaranteed two games, winners advance to play for a National Championship. Games are played every other day. The National Championships is a week long tournament, with on and off field activities, including football clinics, an AYF only party at Universal Studios Orlando or Islands of Adventure.

Qualifying:

AYF has eight regions including Desert Mountain, Big West, Midwest, Southwest, Big East, Atlantic, New England, and Southeast. Each region hosts a regional tournament, which is the qualifier for the National Championships. (Learn about your region.) Regional championships occur in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving weekend. Each region is responsible for scheduling their own Regional Football tournament. If there are no National Tournament Conferences in your area, you may apply for a wild card bid to the National Championship.
